It Has To Start With Freeze...

Up here, I'll not see this brown ground until next May...





Late fall, late in the day, and cooling off quick...


It's shoulder season - summer activities are over and winter activities have yet to begin. I hadn't felt so alone on a ride in a long time - it was actually kind of creepy...





Granted, on the Front Range we've got at least a month of warm-enough weather left. But up here, one last ride; I bid my farewell to the high country's trails of summer.............





Besides, the offseason means being able to enjoy some other activities. To stop and smell the roses...
