"Let me spin the radio dial........hmm........Falcon Trail is about the only thing coming in. How bad could it be?"
".......Dude......this is gonna be a lot like watching global warming......it's a foregone conclusion...."
"Yyyyyyup. You know what's gonna happen but things are gonna move really frickin slow."
You get a mixed bag when you make certain trail choices around here in March. But despite 43 degrees and cloudy, what else can you do but embrace the challenge like a welcome summer rain. But somewhere in between the snow, the mud, and the horse sheeeeit flinging up off the tires we realized we were in for a tough one.
There's a lot to be said for keeping your mouth closed on a ride like this. I made sure to floss when I got home, twice.
And a great way to beat a dead horse is to follow a hard ride with an equally hard rock concert:
RECOVERY BE DAMNED!
So when the opportunity presented itself to see the Supersuckers and the Railbenders perform at a local dive, we were all over it like seaweed on a sushi roll.

Saturday night was a blast, although Sunday was not full of cha-cha-cha's...
